Data we use
Public browsing does not require a CareZelo profile. If you opt into alerts, we store your platform user identifier, email address, selected province, topics, frequency, and consent timestamps.
If you sign up for the weekly roundup, we store your email address, preferred language and the time you gave consent. If you report an error in a brief, we store your report and, only if you choose to give it, your email address so we can reply. For both forms we also keep a short code derived from your connection’s address, which changes every day, to stop abuse; it cannot be used to identify you later.
Analytics and cookies
Essential storage remembers your privacy choice. Optional analytics are off by default in this MVP. If enabled later, they will not activate unless you choose them.
Purpose and retention
Newsletter addresses are used only to send the roundup you asked for; nothing is sent until delivery is set up, and the first email will ask you to confirm. Report details are used only to review and correct briefs. Alert data is used only to manage the alerts you request. Administrative audit records protect content integrity. Retention and deletion controls will be finalized before public email delivery begins.
Your choices
You can update your preferences from the alerts page. A self-service deletion flow and business contact will be added before public launch.
